Created in France in the 70’s, the firm CPM is a pioneer in the cycle industry, as the inventor of the wheel building machine. Knowing that the manual production is outdated, the managers have decided to industrialized the production, using some processes with an advanced technology.

In 1987, when the Mountain Bike is growing, Maurice Chanaux buys the firm, and CPM becomes MACH1.

In 1997, a new branch is created, MACH1 COMPONENTS, which produces and sells rims, nipples and spokes.

 

Today, the staff is composed by 20 persons, working all together in the new building located near Annecy, in the French Alps. They are all very involved in their firm and the team is multidisciplinary : juniors and seniors mixing their knowledge of the new technologies with the experience of the job.

They all have in common a strong spirit of innovation, a high reactivity and adaptability.

Physically present in China, India and Brazil, Mach1 Machinery is a well known actor in the wheel building machines, for bicycles and motorcycles.
